Dreamcatcher Workshop @ Lanchester Garden Centre, 6th August

What a busy weekend we’ve had! Sundays workshop was held at one of our regular spots, the beautiful Lanchester Garden Centre!

I love this venue! The setting couldn’t be more beautiful surrounded by typical County Durham countryside and the new ice cream shop is the perfect place to run to cool down after teaching!

I had a jam packed weekend of teaching the craft I love and I'm never more at home than I am when I'm making. I love to share the addiction- basically I'm hoping to create a small army of craft junkies!

I nipped down the road to Lanchester Garden Centre, put on my Taylor Swift playlist and got to work!

Once I was set up it was just a matter of time before everyone started to arrive.

As always a few ladies needed a little more 1:1 tuition than others which it totally normal, I am always happy to spend time with people making sure that they leave with a creation they are proud of. In this class the majority of the the participants had never done something like this before and I always stress that there's no shortcut to learning macrame. You're not going to come to one workshop and be an expert... The main thing is you're learning a new mindful hobby while also having fun with friends and like-minded people!

That is the beauty of knotting.. repetition and relaxation.

Having said that.. everyone did brilliantly and we ended the workshop with smiles and chatter!
